Mini Bio
Prior to scoring film and television projects Amritha Vaz was a human rights attorney, so she's very interested in helping tell stories with purpose. She started her composer career assisting Academy Award winning composer Mychael Danna on 500 Days of Summer, and has since scored a number of films on her own. She plays many instruments, is comfortable writing in a range of styles and was selected as one of six composers for the 2016 Sundance Composer Lab. Her credits include an episode of Apple's acclaimed series Home, and Disney’s popular Mira: Royal Detective.
